These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Velin website and your purchases from us. Velin is a brand of Affiliate Brands, LLC ("Velin," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Using our website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial shopping. You agree not to misuse the site, including by interfering with its operation, attempting to access it by automated means without our permission, or using it for any unlawful purpose. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the involvement of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

2. Products and descriptions

We work to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colors can look different from screen to screen, and minor variations in natural materials are normal. If a product isn't as described, your remedy is to return it under our Returns policy.

Our products are designed for comfort and better rest. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Information on this website, including in our Journal, is for general information only and is not medical advice. Talk to your doctor if you have a medical condition, use an implanted medical device, or are pregnant before using grounding or weighted products.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and do not include taxes or shipping unless stated. We currently ship within the United States only. Taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and pay-over-time options are provided by Klarna under Klarna's own terms. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, if there is an obvious pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you have been charged, we will refund you in full.

5. Promotions and discounts

Discounts and promotional offers apply only as described, may have an end date, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Unless we say otherwise, offers cannot be combined, and we may limit quantities.

6. Shipping

Shipping times and costs are described on our Shipping page. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when your order is delivered to the carrier-confirmed address. If a package arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, contact us as described on the Shipping page and we will make it right.

7. Returns and refunds

The Equilibrium Grounding Fitted Sheet, Equilibrium Grounding Pillowcase and SilverThread Sheets come with a 90-day trial: you can return them, including used and washed, within 90 days of delivery for a refund. All other products can be returned unused, unwashed and in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Full details are in our Returns policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Rewards and third-party offers

Some features, such as card-linked rewards, are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or offers, even if we link to them.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, product names, and designs, is owned by or licensed to Affiliate Brands, LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission, except to view and share the site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Reviews and submissions

If you send us a review, comment, photo, or other content, you confirm that it is your own and accurate, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with Velin. We may remove any content at our discretion.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind other than those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. Results from using our products vary from person to person. Some jurisdictions, including New Jersey, do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Affiliate Brands, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions, including New Jersey, do not allow the limitation or exclusion of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Notice to New Jersey residents: the limitations and exclusions in sections 11 and 12 apply only to the extent permitted by New Jersey law, and nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act or the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its "last updated" date, applies to your use of the site and to orders placed after that date.
